Donating to Learn to Earn

No contribution is too big or too small

Regardless of the size of a donation to Learn to Earn, all amounts received are put towards changing lives in the communities of Khayelitsha and Hermanus. This is done though our core operations – skills training, people development and job creation. Our administration costs are kept to a maximum of 15% and are subsidised by our income generating projects. On average it costs us R9000 to train one student.

In addition to individual donations we raise our own funds through fundraising events such as our annual fundraising dinner in July.

If you would like to find out more about becoming a LtE donor please contact Aleks Jablonska on +27 21 671 2230

Tax deductions:
If you are a South African citizen and you donate to Learn to Earn you will be eligible for tax rebate (maximum threshold of 10% of the taxable income applies). The Section 18A Tax Certificate can only be provided for invoiced financial or product donations ie equipment etc. Tax Certificates are processed in April/May each year for the financial year ending in March.
