The feel good Project - Graduate recruitment enquiry

'The project has helped me grow as a person through learning life and business skills that can be applied to many things, not only my job ... I have a qualification and a job at Totalsports in Gugulethu, thanks to tfgP and Learn to Earn.' Lusanda Slaai – August 2010. Lusanda is now working at the Ministry of Justice.

"I'm enjoying my current job and working well with the team! Training with tfgP was a privilege for me and it meant a lot, because I had no work experience when I first joined the training programme. I have since gained so much experience across the sewing and warehouse skills areas because of tfgP!" Millicent Makaula – 2012 tfgP Warehouse Graduate
Permanently employed with TFG Ndabeni DC since March 2014

Following his on-the-job warehouse training in August 2013, Simphiwe May was offered a position on tfgP's first TFG Distribution Centre Internship Programme. His high level of performance during the programme was of such an exemplary degree that it opened the door for a permanent position with TFG's Distribution Centre.

"I enjoy my work and I am so grateful to tfgP and TFG for granting me this opportunity. I am committed to making everyone that had a hand in my development very proud". Simphiwe May, LtE 2012 Woodwork Course graduate and tfgP 2013 Warehouse graduate.
Permanently employed with TFG Sports DC since March 2014

I've learnt a lot about retailing, merchandising, shop display and customer service. Being part of tfg is a big stepping stone for me. I foresee many doors opening up because I'm more confident now. I was one of the fortunate students to be promoted and it has given me the courage to better myself'
Cynthia Mapiye Foschini Group supervisor – May 2010
In 2011 Cynthia was employed by tfgP as the project managers' assistant.

After 3 years of unemployment, I'd given up on my future, until I decided to try out LtE. I experienced so much positive change at LtE; I regained hope, my faith grew stronger, and I received access to an opportunity to train for 6 months with tfgP as a Retail Trainee. When I started at tfgP, I said to myself I must do something every day that my future-self will thank me for. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd become a Store Supervisor or a permanent employee at tfgP. It's been a wonderful journey full of learning and encouragement. It sometimes feels like I'm dreaming just waking up every morning to go to work knowing that I have a bright future. Today I'm able to provide for my family and that alone is the best thing. I'm no longer an unemployment statistic, instead, the sky truly is the limit for me and it is all thanks to LtE and tfgP!
