Office Adminstration Skills

 

Students are taught basic office administration skills to be able to run a reception area. Skills taught include more advanced computer skills, handling of mail, faxes etc, telephone etiquette, customer service, caring for office equipment and filing of documents into an existing system.

• Introduction to PCs
• MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• Using the internet and the worldwide web
• Business Communication
• Office Administration:
    • Maintaining a reception area
    • answering customer enquiries in an office setting
    • Receiving direct visitors in reception
    • Effective telephone etiquette
    • Operate and take care of equipment
    • Receive, distribute and send mail
    • Create evidence and maintain confidentiality
    • File documents in an existing system
• Demo Interviews (Practical)
• Presentations (Practical)
• Reception Duties (Practical)

Times: 08h30-13h30 Monday-Friday
Cost to student: R600 (R200 course fee+ R400 non-refundable course registration fee
Cost to Learn to Earn: R29 250 to train one student
